This is the house rulebook for a free online publishing and informational content publication, not a 90-page enterprise MSA. It still has teeth: scraping, impersonation, and pretending our guides are your product are out.
Who may use Prompt Look
No account is required to read. If we ever add accounts, they will have their own rules. Until then, these Terms still apply to anonymous use.
Abuse
- Do not impersonate Prompt Look or Prompt Look.
- Do not break the law or ask us to.
- Do not probe the host, other readers, or the mail inbox.
- Do not post defamatory, hateful, or infringing material if a comment tool exists.
- Do not copy, frame, or mirror substantial parts without permission.
Intellectual property
User mail and ideas you send may be used to run the site. Do not send material you cannot licence. We may refuse or remove submissions.
Google units and affiliates
The site shows advertising, including Google AdSense, and may include affiliate links. Your deal with an advertiser is yours. We are not their customer-service desk.
A limited permission
Read, share a link, quote a little with credit. Do not mirror the site. Do not wrap our HTML in your ads. Do not sell our guides as a download.
Cookies, ads, and your choices
Governing law: the country in which we operate, without conflict-of-law gymnastics, except where consumer law requires a different court.
Disclaimer of promises
Prompt Look is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or harmless operation, or that online publishing and informational content content is complete. To the fullest extent permitted by the law of the country in which we operate, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or goodwill. Total liability for a claim will not exceed one hundred US dollars (or local equivalent), except where the law sets a higher floor.
Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence where forbidden.
